Compression Fittings

Compression fittings are widely used in plumbing systems to connect pipes and tubes without the need for soldering. They consist of three parts: a compression nut, a compression ring (also known as a ferrule), and a compression seat. When the nut is tightened, it compresses the ring onto the pipe, creating a watertight seal. This type of fitting is ideal for situations where heat cannot be applied and is commonly used for gas and water supply lines.
