1. Using a PVC cutter

PVC pipe cutters are the most commonly used tools when it comes to cutting pipes. You can use these tools both for small projects and bigger ones. Besides, there are small PVC cutters that you can use for pipes that are 1″ or less in thickness. Large PVC cutters are useful for cutting pipes with up to 2″ diameter.

2. Using a hacksaw

If you need more straight cuts, hacksaws are the best option that you can choose. Although they require more energy and time, they are the most commonly used tools in cutting PVC pipes. You will find them useful in more significant projects that require cutting several pieces.

3. Using a cable saw

If you would like to cut hard to reach surfaces, then a cable saw will help you. Although it is the least popular method, it is relatively easy while compared to many alternatives. You need to wrap the cable around the pipe when you cut and alternate pulling from side to side until you cut it.
